Marissa had never stepped foot in a gym back when she challenged herself to reach Mount Everest base camp in 2018. She was fast approaching 60, feeling out of shape and completely unprepared. Marissa quickly built up the strength and fitness to achieve her goal after just 12 weeks of personal training with Ultimate Performance.

But little did she know that journey would ignite a long-term love affair with strength training. Now 63 years old, lifting weights has set Marissa up for a healthy future… and she’s even pursuing her passion for Olympic weightlifting!
